The Lui's Residence, designed by Chris Kwong, is a stunning residential project that showcases a perfect blend of elegance and modernity. The design stands out with its use of black, grey, and white colors, which accentuate the strong architectural lines of the space. The unique V-shaped wooden flooring adds a touch of creativity and visual interest to the overall design.

One of the standout features of the Lui's Residence is the sliding glazed door that separates the living and dining areas. This innovative design element allows for flexibility in the use of space while maintaining a seamless flow between the two areas. Additionally, the floor-to-ceiling bookshelf not only serves as a functional storage solution but also creates a sense of openness and spaciousness.

The living room is adorned with distinctive decor that adds to the overall ambiance of the space. The coffee table, designed to resemble a luggage case, adds a sleek and modern dimension to the room. A fascinating fur rocking chair serves as a focal point, adding a touch of luxury and comfort.

The dining room is designed with wooden furniture and aesthetic light fittings, creating a sense of natural softness. The dark walls and floor in the bathroom exude European style, while a full-length window divides the shower cubicle and dressing room, allowing for an abundance of natural light.

In the master bedroom, the warmer and darker tones create a relaxed and inviting ambiance. The design of the Lui's Residence successfully combines different types of raw materials to create a cozy atmosphere, making it a truly unique and captivating space.

The Lui's Residence spans across a 1450 square feet apartment and was completed between December 2013 and June 2014. The use of concrete chipboard, V-shaped wooden flooring, and black-painted iron frames contributed to the realization of this exceptional design.

This design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2015. This prestigious award is a testament to the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the Lui's Residence.
